  • AFCO received QS-9000 Registration Certification in November of 1996. AFCO migrated to the ISO/TS 16949 Standard in 2004. The achievement of these certification show responsiveness as a world-class automotive supplier, enhances corporate standardization, and supports the continuous improvement process. Each department maintains a record of all applicable ISO/TS 16949 documentation. The department supervisor is responsible for training and awareness of all associates within the department on the applicable elements of ISO/TS 16949. Associates are responsible for reviewing the elements, procedures, instructions, forms, etc., that apply to their specific job responsibilities. In addition, a key requirement of ISO/TS 16949 is that each associate follows job procedures in accomplishing his or her job. Product Quality is not a feature customers are willing to pay extra to receive. Our customers expect a high quality product at the lowest possible price. In the end, this Principle of Quality benefits us, our families, and our friends. After all, we, as consumers, are the final customer.
